NYACK, NY, UNITED STATES, October 22, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- RagePADs, the gaming accessory company founded by teen entrepreneur Maxim Harris, is coordinating with Ubisoft, creator of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, to design a limited-edition Black Ice RagePAD. The handmade pads will be offered only through a small group of Rainbow Six creators in fundraising efforts benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish, two causes close to Maxim and his family.

Maxim will make 30 individually numbered RagePADs for the fundraiser, each fully wrapped by hand in a design inspired by Siege’s Black Ice weapon skin. “Each one takes about 45 minutes to an hour to make, and sometimes I mess up and have to start over,” Maxim said. “I want each one to look right. They will take a beating, but they are intended to be a unique addition to somebody’s R6 collection.”

A Personal Project Becomes a Fundraising Campaign
Black Ice first appeared in Rainbow Six Siege in 2016 and remains a favorite among the game’s players a decade later. Siege is one of Maxim’s favorite games. When he began experimenting with customized RagePADs about eight months ago, a Black Ice version was one of the first designs he wanted to try.

“I love the game and I love that skin,” Maxim said. “I knew I couldn’t sell a Black Ice RagePAD, so the first one I made was just for me. It’s been sitting on my desk for months.”

Maxim’s older brother Xavier, who manages much of RagePADs’ social media and marketing, saw that first successful prototype and reached out to Ubisoft with a different idea: make a small, authorized run to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish. Maxim has received treatment at St. Jude, and Make-A-Wish has also mattered to him personally. RagePADs has previously donated to both organizations as part of Maxim’s commitment to give back while growing the company. Maxim hopes this project will help him do even more.

“When I told Maxim, he was all for it as long as it was for charity,” Xavier said. “I’m not sure he thought it would really happen. We were a small company with no established relationship with Ubisoft. But they responded quickly, and over the next few weeks we corresponded on the best design and which creators might take part.”

Getting on the radar of companies like Ubisoft is another step for the family-run startup. RagePADs has now sold more than 1,000 units, with orders shipped to 47 U.S. states and 12 countries. Maxim continues to build the company while receiving cancer treatment and has donated thousands of dollars to charitable causes.

A Small Run With a Bigger Purpose
The Black Ice RagePADs will be made available through participating Rainbow Six creators, rather than as a regular item in the RagePADs store. Royal Penguin, Kudos, and Titanium Rolo are the first creators to sign on. RagePADs will announce additional participants and details on its Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels.

The creators will have flexibility in how they use their pads to encourage donations. Ideas under discussion include auctions, raffles, and a pad signed by Rainbow Six players at a tournament in Osaka. Some may feature the pads on streams; those arrangements are still being worked out.

“We wanted the creators to have room to do something that fits their audience,” Maxim said. “Some of the ideas they’ve had are really cool. And if I get to play Siege with one of them on a stream, I’m definitely excited about that—although I know I will probably be the first one out.”

More Ways to Make a RagePAD Personal
For Xavier, the project also shows what may be possible as RagePADs expands its customization program. The company plans to announce personalized RagePAD ordering soon and hopes to explore more licensed designs in gaming, esports, and sports.

“I’m grateful Ubisoft saw the potential in a little company run by a teenager,” Xavier said. “This gives Maxim a chance to work with a game and creators he loves while raising money for St. Jude and Make-A-Wish. It also lets people see what a fully customized RagePAD can be. We have more ideas ahead.”

The schedule and instructions for each creator’s fundraising activity will be announced by those creators over the next few weeks, so watch RagePADs’ social channels for the influencers to follow. The limited-edition Black Ice RagePAD will not be available through any general retail release.
